Komisioni Evropian ka propozuar rregulla të reja të BE-së për të rritur sigurinë rrugore. BE ka vendosur që patenta të jetë dixhitale dhe jo më plastike dhe të jetë e vlefshme në të gjithë Unionin. Mosha minimale pritet të ulet në 17 vjeç kur mund të praktikohet drejtimi i automjeteve dhe nëse kalojnë provimin mund të marrin vetë makinën sapo të mbushin 18 vjeç. Trajnimi dhe testimi i marrjes së patentës së drejtimit tashmë do të marrë më shumë parasysh sigurinë e këmbësorëve, çiklistëve, skuterëve dhe biçikletave elektrike.
Të dhënat e vendeve anëtare do të unifikohen për të bërë efektiv pezullimin e lejes të drejtimit në të gjithë BE-në. Rregullat e reja kanë vendosur sanksione të forta ndaj disa shkeljeve si parakalimet e rrezikshme, tejkalimi i vijave të forta, drejtimi në sens të kundërt të trafikut. Rregullat e reja u prezantuan nga Komisionerja Evropiane për Transportin, Adina Valean.
“Shumë prej jush me siguri e kanë lejen e drejtimit në portofol dhe janë gati ta tregojnë nëse ju ndalojnë gjatë rrugës. Kushti është që ta keni me vete. Tashmë një nga direktivat e miratuara i bën të pavlefshme copëzat e vogla të plastikës. Ne duam që BE të kalojë në një patentë drejtimi dixhitale që funksionon brenda Bashkimit Evropian” – tha Valean.
“Në një të ardhme jo të largët, patenta juaj e drejtimit do të jetë në telefonin tuaj ose në çdo pajisje tjetër dixhitale. Megjithëse mund të merrni edhe versionin fizik nëse dëshironi”, – shtoi Valean.
“Patenta dixhitale e drejtimit është një çështje komoditeti personal, por direktiva jonë do të thjeshtojë dhe lehtësojë gjithashtu barrën administrative të përpunimit të një patentë fizike,” – tha ajo.

I am a volunteer in Kherson region in Ukraine and I must admit that the situation has become extremely dire. The Russian forces are intensifying their attacks almost on an hourly basis, which has resulted in a cut off of all essential supplies and clothing. With extreme cold and lack of food supplies, it has become extremely difficult for innocent Ukrainian civilians to survive, most of whom are homeless. Internet and all communications are heavily censored and down most of the time.
We have been promised foreign aid by countless charities and organisations but in reality, hardly anything arrives. I suspect that all deliveries are being intercepted by Russian troops.
As a last resort, I am appealing to lapsi.al to help Ukrainian civilians in the region with all essential supplies.
We would ideally need medical supplies, food (non-perishable or longer lasting), warm clothing and anything else you may be able to provide.
